Ayahuasca is an ancient Amazonian drink used for deep spiritual and psychological healing. In recent years, even the scientific community has begun to take an interest and explore its therapeutic potential in treating depression, anxiety disorders, mental illness, and the effects of psychological trauma.

How does Ayahuasca help heal these ailments?

The drink contains the active ingredient Dimethyltryptamine (DMT), which interacts with the brain's serotonin receptors. This leads to deep altered states of consciousness where a person can:

  • Recognize and live through repressed emotions

  • Rewrite negative thought patterns

  • Re-evaluate traumatic experiences and let go of pain

And that's not the whole list....

Studies from universities in Japan, the US, UK and Brazil show that EVEN ONE CEREMONY can significantly reduce symptoms of depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)!

In 2015, a study published in Nature confirmed that Ayahuasca increases neuroplasticity - the brain's ability to repair damaged connections. For medicine and psychology - this holds tremendous promise for treating persistent depression. As a result, scientific interest in shippibo medicine is growing.

But it is important to realize that Ayahuasca is a powerful tool, and one should approach its use consciously. You should work with it only in a safe environment, under the guidance of an experienced guide or shaman.

For many people Ayahuasca becomes a turning point - a return to life, joy and inner harmony. But the most important thing is not the process of the ceremony itself, but to trust the process and be open to the changes that will later come in life. As many who have gone through the ceremony note that the hardest thing to do is to integrate into the changes that will inevitably occur in life. And many are not always prepared for them. Drama and suffering is a stronger habit than joy and enjoyment of life when it becomes not just a goal, but a reality that begins to happen

PS. Friends, if you are interested in the scientific approach to psychedelics, we highly recommend you to watch the documentary “DMT: The Spirit Molecule”

We, in turn, always welcome you at the ceremonies in our center!
